Committed to the Integrity of Families
Unfortunately, prenuptial agreements, the most common form of MPAs, have gotten a bad reputation. Many people erroneously believe that they are unromantic and represent a fundamental lack of faith in the relationship. While preparing a legal document may not be the most sexiest thing you can do, they categorically DO NOT demonstrate distrust or a lack of faith that the relationship will not stand the test of time.
Instead, quite to the contrary, a prenuptial agreement can help bring a couple closer together, encourage open communication, and help them prepare for the future. This all enables the couple to enter their marriage on a strong, equal footing. In fact, for many couples, a prenuptial agreement actually makes them feel more secure in their relationship as it removed any worry over future arguments about finances.
We are experts in all marital property agreements and cohabitation agreements and have crafted hundreds over the length of our practice.
Let's put your relationship on intelligent ground.
Getting divorced does not have to mean war. The fact is that at one point a strong partnership was created, and just because the marriage is dissolving doesn't mean the partnership has to be dissolved as well.
Mediation is an incredibly cost-effective, all-inclusive practice at Wisconsin Family Lawyers. We take divorcing couples end-to-end in the process, from initial application for divorce through financial assessment and delivery to custody/placement agreements and all the way to the doorstep of the final divorce judgment. We do so with compassion and sensitivity for clients who recognize that preserving the integrity of their partnership is attainable and worthwhile.
An exploration of whether mediation is a viable solution is always a good step. Call us and we will give a practical assessment of mediation as it relates to your situation.
Let's be honest: there are plenty of circumstances where parties just can never see eye to eye. In those circumstances, litigating every problem will break both parties and no one ever ends up ahead.
A Parent Coordinator (PC) is the the solution.
When parties agree to a Parent Coordinator, they instantly lessen the potential expense of litigation AND get a far more instant resolution in real time to whatever problem may arise.
We are vested with the authority to make decisions or break impasse, and we do so with respect for the position of both parties. Any high conflict situation should think seriously about appointing Wisconsin Family Lawyers as a PC-- whether by court order or agreement. We are here to find that resolution point.
